Madrid Arthouse
Film Festival
Madrid Arthouse Film Festival is an IMDb qualified online festival based in Madrid. The festival aims to provide a platform for short and long feature filmmakers to be seen and heard as best as possible.
A competitive stage for independent cinema
The festival is very competitive: Each season, our jury selects each category's winners. The winners of each edition may then be considered for the online competition. If this happens, they will be shown and compete with other films-winners at the online event.
Our Mission
To give short and feature filmmakers — emerging or established — a fair, unbiased platform where their work is truly watched, judged and celebrated.
100% Online, Worldwide
Based in Madrid, open to the world. No travel needed — your film competes online and reaches an international audience and jury.
IMDb Qualified
An IMDb qualified festival across 25 categories — from Spanish & international films to animation, documentary, scripts and music videos.
Fair Jury Selection
Every season, each category is judged separately by our programming committee. Only the best move forward to the online winners' competition.
